We planted several seedlings the other day and wouldn't you know the very next day we had a hail storm. Looks like most of them survived though...thankfully.

I came across these old pictures tonight and just love them.....

enjoying time with Fiona and Aunt Katie

waking up together is fun

Fiona and Aunt Katie spent the night one night last week. These were
taken first thing in the morning when the 3 cousins woke up. Aunt Katie
and Fiona were supposed to be on a plane headed home yesterday morning
but decided to stay another week at the last minute. If only they had a
camera in church to take a picture of my totally surprised face when
they walked into church Sunday morning after I thought they had flown out.

I find myself singing the words of the Doxology in my head to the tune of the hymn it is most often sung to. I especially like it in a scene from Emma (Jane Austen) in the A&E version while they are in a church service. Praise Him!

We took Maggie to meet Fin and it was a lot of fun

in mid play he conked out on the grass and was totally out! It was so
cute. We all finally walked away and just let him nap there in the grass.

Grandpa picked up his new puppy the other day.... he's so cute and so
much fun to play with. He is a 7 week old black lab bred for hunting ducks.

they've been in Grandpa's nursery under his grow-light giving them sunlight to grow. They are doing great! Beets in the back, basil in the middle and cucumbers in the front.

fiona this morning

Grandpa emailed this picture over this morning of Fiona in our baby swing that we sent over to their house for her to use while she is here visiting. We haven't yet seen Fiona because of our kids being sick. Today though I get to go over there to see her and Katie while Gram comes to our house to watch the kids for me. I can't wait to go over there and see both of them! Hopefully the cousins can meet sometime this week. Jon and Em are doing better but still coughing a lot. =0(
